My name is Winnie Mangwende. I am an Artist, Activist & Academic. This is my space to tell you about me, show you how I live as I purse my life interests and passions.

ARTIST

I use digital technologies to develop visual images as a cathartic medium for self-expression about issues close to my heart. I use digital mixed media to tell stories about my life, relationships and my environment.

ACTIVIST

Activism came after my life experience as a Targeted Individual.  I use my experience to raise Awareness and Advocate for Justice and Human Rights for Targeted Individuals

ACADEMIC

I acquired as Photography student at DeMontfort University a Postgraduate diploma in Photography and a BA Hons Degree in Photography and Moving Image that lead to me wanting to explore my creative abilities to tell visual stories using mixed media
